Roses Hut to Fern Burn Hut

Saturday 16 December – Long day with 3 big hills and great views!

Walked from Roses Hut over two hills to get to Highland Creek Hut. Had a late lunch – early dinner – and walked the third hill to get to Fern Burn Hut.

      It’s true – the weather has been kind to me. Looks like it will be 26 degrees today for my walk to Lake Hawea.
